Lana Kova Studio was founded in 2014 by Lana Kova, and is based in in Tribeca NYC. Lana’s work is multidisciplinary and spans various mediums including sculpture, ceramics, watercolor as well as other forms of painting. She specializes in contemporary ceramic sculpture, pottery, and porcelain, and has a passion for glaze research and experimentation. There are a handful of visual motifs that have come to represent Lana Kova’s signature style, including hand-painted dots that cover the inside and outside of a vessel or a plate and intricate carved patterns that distill elements in nature. The result is a repeated surface or pattern that in its abstraction pertains to a feeling of infinity, conveying calm and meditation, alluding to the controlled rhythm and concentration harnessed in the making of each object.

Lana Kova has been an active member of the arts scene in New York since 2014, and has since exhibited with Sara Japanese Pottery, The Fireplace Project, Studio 11, and Greenwich House Pottery. She was one of the selected artists to participate in the Gyeonggi-do International Ceramic Competition Exhibition in 2017 and her sculpture Black Urchin was selected for the permanent collection of Korea Ceramic Foundation, South Korea.
